Software for hospitality and events businesses
Enquiries, menus, recipes, suppliers and invoices in one system that works on a phone, built for private chefs, caterers and event companies.

Where the time goes
Events businesses tend to run from a phone, an inbox and a set of spreadsheets. Enquiries arrive by phone, email and Instagram. Event details sit in one sheet, menus in Word documents, recipes in notes apps or on paper, and supplier contacts in WhatsApp.
The work of keeping these in step falls to the people who should be cooking or running the event. Recipes get retyped for every menu. Allergens are checked from memory. Nobody can see at a glance which events are confirmed, which are waiting on a menu decision and which have not been invoiced.
What we build
One system that takes each event from enquiry to invoice. Every event moves through clear stages, such as enquiry, proposed, confirmed, production, completed and invoiced, with its menu, tasks, suppliers and photos attached.
Recipes live in one library with ingredients, method, dietary tags and allergens. Existing recipes can be imported from PDFs or text, so nobody has to type the archive in again. Menus are built from the library, sent to clients for approval and locked once agreed. Menus that worked can be reused as templates.
Clients can be given links to view their menu or a recipe, and one search covers events, clients, recipes, suppliers and notes. Everything works on a phone, because that is where the work happens.
What it connects to
Accounting software such as Xero for invoices, email for client communication and calendars for event dates. Where there is no connection worth building, the system exports what your accountant or suppliers need.
Questions
We are a small business. Is this worth it?
Size is not the test. The test is how many hours go each week into copying the same details between tools. The Chef Daisy Cecil system was built for a single private chef's business.
Can it track allergens?
Yes. Recipes carry dietary tags and allergens, so a menu can show the allergens in every dish it contains.
Can we bring in our existing recipes?
Yes. Recipes can be imported from PDFs or text and come back split into ingredients, method, dietary tags and allergens, ready to check.
Who owns the software?
You do, once it is paid for. The custom code we write for you is yours, as set out in our terms.
